Hi, I'm Annie,
I've been passionate about helping people feel amazing in their bodies for as long as I can remember- just ask my older sisters, who got back massages from me when I was 5 :)
Fast forward a few years, and I discovered Pilates at the age of 17 back in Israel. It was a game-changer for my body and mindset, and I fell in love with how it made me feel. That passion led me to earn my first comprehensive certification in Tel Aviv in 2006. Since then, I've attended countless workshops with some of the biggest names in the Pilates world before I got accepted to the highly selective program for exceptional teachers from all over the world, named "The Work" at Vintage Pilates, LA. The program was directed by grandmaster teacher the late Jay Grimes who was trained by Joseph Pilates himself. That experience gave me a deep understanding of Pilates as it was originally intended, and I bring that authentic approach to every session.
Here's what I can do for you: I'll help you build a strong, flexible body, improve your posture, and tune in to your body's needs. Whether you're an athlete, a new mom, a desk sitter, or someone just trying to feel less creaky, I'll tailor sessions to your unique needs. By the end of each class, you'll feel stronger, taller, more focused and maybe even a little invincible (or at least ready to conquer your day).
Some extra stuff about me:
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy exploring San Francisco's playgrounds and restaurants with my husband and our three boys. I also love weight lifting and playing Japanese Taiko drums.
I'm a member of the Israeli Bar Association and I hold an L.L.B and a B.A. in East Asia studies. I'm also a pre and postnatal certified trainer.
